Ask about meetings, decisions, votes...

The records are public. Reading them shouldn't require a law degree.

Town minutes are public — but nobody reads them

Hundreds of pages of agendas, minutes, and meeting packets get posted every month. Most of them never get opened. The decisions that affect your block, your school, your taxes are sitting in those PDFs.

The answer exists. It's just buried.

Zoning votes, budget debates, planning approvals — all of it lives in some PDF or recording somewhere. CivicIndex makes it searchable in plain English, with citations back to the original source.

Your town doesn't always speak your language

Ask in Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole, or Mandarin and get an answer in the same language. Subscribe to the weekly digest in English, Spanish, or Portuguese — sourced from the same public record everyone else has access to.
